Publishers keep 80% — and one free withdrawal every month
Publishers keep 80% of the money spent against their inventory. The 20% platform share is fixed and disclosed — not renegotiated deal by deal. There's no listing fee and no fee to earn; your first withdrawal each calendar month is free, and any additional withdrawals that month carry a small payment-processing fee, always shown before you confirm.
Direct deals
Negotiating directly with advertisers you already trust, settled through the same transparent ledger as the open marketplace, is planned but not live yet. Today, all inventory clears through the auction described above.
Publisher FAQ
- How is my content classified?
- An AI worker reads your page content and assigns it to a shared taxonomy of topics. Classification decides what ads are eligible to appear — it never reads about your individual visitors.
- Can I block categories I don't want?
- Yes. Every publisher can exclude ad categories outright and set a relevance threshold above the platform default for their own inventory.
- What happens to unsold inventory?
- Unsold or disqualified impressions may serve house inventory rather than sitting empty. Separately, about 1% of impressions are reserved for Leedas house advertising, and those serve house first even when a paying ad would match. Outside that reserved 1%, house only fills impressions no eligible paying ad would take.
- Why are 1% of ads reserved for house or platform ads?
- Two reasons. First, so publishers and advertisers who aren't partners yet learn about the platform, which benefits everyone already on it. Second, it's a benefit to the platform's owner and operator for providing a way to advertise without paying or receiving payment.
- What counts as a billable impression?
- An impression only bills once it's actually been seen — at least half the creative, visible for a full continuous second. That's the IAB viewability standard, not just a tag firing on the page.
- How do payouts work?
- Every impression that's billed lands in an append-only ledger the moment it happens. Earnings mature in a 90-day tranche, then sit through a further 90-day settlement review — about six months to a first payout, roughly quarterly after that. Once a tranche is withdrawable, request a payout of at least $10 to your PayPal email or Stripe connected account; a person authorizes every payout before it moves.
- Can I block a specific advertiser?
- Yes. Report or directly block any advertiser from your dashboard — a block is unconditional and permanent until you lift it, so that advertiser's campaigns never serve on your inventory again. The one exception is Leedas's own house advertising: the capped house allocation is part of the publisher terms and can't be blocked.
- Can I negotiate a direct deal with an advertiser?
- Negotiated, guaranteed placements with a specific advertiser are on our roadmap. Today, all inventory clears through the open auction described above.
